Task and responsabilities : - Working with existing providers to furhter develop the relationship and continuosly grow their opportunities
- Build a strong working relationship with transportation service providers to support the success of the supply chain. Understand their business strengths, weaknesses, capabilities and future opportunities.
- Be responsible for onboarding new carriers - new business and or existing one- having overall responsibility for the process, coordinating, managing and escalating as necessary.
- Ensure that DHL demonstrates innovation and generates opportunities via an effective carrier review process, using accurate and transparent KPIs and metrics; engaging with operations; FB&A, IT as needed to ensure issues resolution and increased service levels.
- Ensure that non performing carriers are dealt with professionaly and effectively ensuring issues are resolved and service levels are improved, or carriers are dealt with accordingly with agreed processes.
- Work closely with the procurement team; aligning the carrier strategy with best cost option to the customer. Support central Carrier management projects.
Requirements for the Job: - Experience in multi modal transport operations (Courier, Road, Air & Sea), freight forwarding - DGF / Express / Freight
- 3 Years of experience in LLP activities is mandatory
- Supplier Management; Carrier Management and /or Supplier Relationship management programs
- English : fluent compulsory
- French : fluent compulsory
- Other language (German, Spanish) : desirable
